Test duration and test environment
The lamp went into endurance test on 11 Feb 2012 and an update has been made after 6400 hours (5 Nov 2012) and after 15.000 hours (Nov 2013). The summary table above gives the data after 6400 hours and 15.000 hours.
During this period of time the lamp has seen the following ambient temperature and ambient relative humidity.
Jan 2012 – Mar 2012.
April 2012 – July 2012.
July 2012 – Sept 2012.
Sept 2012 – Nov 2012.
The ambient temperature close to the lamp varied between 13-32 deg C and the relative humidity between 15-80 %. During the second year this variation has not changed.
Variation of lamp parameters
The variation of the lamp parameters during the endurance test.
See the explanation on the OliNo site for more on the test method.
Extrapolation of the illuminance.
See the explanation on the OliNo site for more explanation and the link to the ASSIST document for the method of extrapolation.
The extrapolation of this data until 70 % of illuminance is reached could not be done as the illuminance does not decrease. However a decrease is visible since 5000 hours.
From here it follows that L70 > 90,000 hours.
Color change
The color change (change in color coordinates) is measured during the test period of 15,000 hours.
Change in color coordinates during the endurance test.
The color coordinates indicated with the red cross-hairs are the coordinates after 1000 burn hours. These are taken as reference. After 15,000 hours the color point remains well inside the 4-step McAdams ellipse.
